LESSON PROGRAM
At Triple C Ranch, we pride ourselves on offering comprehensive instruction in both Western and English riding disciplines, with a focus on fostering well-rounded and knowledgeable equestrians. Whether you're new to horses or an experienced rider, our mission is to ensure that every student leaves with a deeper understanding and appreciation for horsemanship. Our range of offerings caters to riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced. We offer a variety of lessons, including our introductory class 'Intro to Equine', designed to provide foundational knowledge for those new to the world of horses.
Each lesson begins with students preparing their horse, allowing for a hands-on learning experience right from the start. With ten minutes allocated for tacking up, students learn the importance of proper grooming and saddling techniques. Once ready, students are paired with a trainer who will guide them through approximately 40 minutes of instructional time tailored to their specific lesson type and skill level. Whether focusing on Western or English riding, our instructors are dedicated to providing personalized guidance and feedback to help students progress and improve their riding abilities. After the instructional portion of the lesson concludes, students are required to spend ten minutes cooling down their horse, emphasizing the importance of proper horse care and management.
While each lesson is scheduled for forty minutes of riding time, it's essential to note that part of this time may be dedicated to ground work, such as learning how to safely interact with and handle horses. This foundational knowledge is critical for riders of all levels and contributes to their overall understanding of horsemanship.
We recommend that all students participate in at least one lesson per week to maintain consistency and solidify their progress. Additionally, for those seeking specialized instruction, we encourage reaching out to us to ensure we match you with a trainer suitable for your specific needs.
Lesson Guidelines:
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson time, in order to keep lessons on time.
Please arrive in the recommended attire (long pants, closed toed, solid shoes). If you arrive to your lesson without the proper clothing, we will not allow you to ride.
All Riders must complete a registration form before they ride.
We do not offer trail rides!
“At Triple C Ranch, our commitment is not only to teach riding skills but also to instill a deep respect and understanding of horses, creating confident and knowledgeable horse people for years to come.”
WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR LESSON
Riders are required to wear long pants, closed–toe shoes with a hard sole, and a SEI certified helmet. Please ask your instructor for recommendations on proper equipment if you do not own any appropriate riding gear. Our goal is to keep everyone happy and safe!
